About Bulan
Bulan — the Thai word for moon — captures the spirit of dining at The Lunar Patong. As the sun dips below the Andaman horizon and the sky deepens to indigo, our restaurant comes alive with the aromas of the Thai kitchen and the clatter of good conversation.
The menu is rooted in Thai tradition and open to the world: fresh-caught seafood from the Andaman, slow-braised curries, charcoal-grilled meats, and a curated selection of international classics that feel at home in Patong's cosmopolitan crowd.
The cocktail list leans into the island's extraordinary botanical larder — kaffir lime, lemongrass, fresh coconut, and tropical fruits picked that morning from the market.

Baanchan presents a relaxed bar experience along one of Patong's most lively streets. Blending ambient music, comfortable seating, and a curated selection of beverages, it creates the perfect setting to ease into the evening or unwind after the city's nightlife.
Morning Service
Our breakfast service runs from 07:00 to 10:30 each morning. We believe the day starts well when the first meal is exceptional — so we've put care into every detail of the Bulan breakfast spread.
Expect freshly baked pastries, tropical fruit platters, Thai congee cooked with pork and ginger, eggs prepared to order, and a coffee programme that takes its beans seriously. The spread changes daily to stay fresh and inspired.
